We all know that judging a book by its cover is dicey. But if you shouldn’t do that, then how do you know what your kid is reading?
Enter Page Pig, summaries of books so that you know what your kid is reading. Quick summaries are available along with some categories to help you know topics of interest in each book. The categories of information are not intended to pass judgement on what the book has, just merely stating what is in the book. Page Pig is a mortal, sleep deprived being that may miss certain items in the summaries and categories, but hopefully there is enough information to let you know if your kiddo will be excited about a book or terrified of the subject matter.
Please don’t make Page Pig cry, the book summaries are not intended to vilify or ban books. The world needs lots of book options for all kinds of readers, but that doesn’t mean that your kid has to read everything. Only you know what is appropriate for your child, hopefully Page Pig can make you happy about the books on your kid’s bookshelf.

Review Types: When I started Page Pig, I did not have a full appreciation for our rate of reading or the time for creating a review. To support library due dates and getting some sleep, Nibbles started. Nibbles are parts of a review, enough to get an idea on a book, but not a full review.
We had read a lot of books before Page Pig started. Maybe one day I will get reviews for all of those books, but for now, I created a list of recommended books. The list is just for books that we read before I started reviewing. If we reread a book, the list may have a reviewed book.
