Bonus Activities at End of Book: Fun facts about marine animals, tips for keeps the ocean and beaches clean
Summary from Book: Put on your swim trunks and hit the beach with Earl and Mooch—the dog (and cat) days of summer are here!
It’s summertime, and the living is easy, the ice cream is cold, and the temperature is so hot your brains will melt right out of your head. Mooch and Earl are eager to make the most of it, lounging in the backyard pool, building sandcastles on the beach, and sharing knock-knock jokes with a dolphin. From whales and butterflies to lemonade and Bermuda shorts, this Mutts collection is packed full of summer fun!
Check out the “More to Explore” section to learn about the behaviors and habitats of coastal and marine animals, including seagulls, mussels, squid, lobsters, and crabs-all the fun creatures that keep Earl and Mooch company in The Mutts Summer Diaries.
Note: This review is done from memory. I originally read this awhile ago.
Page Pig Thoughts: What is not to love about adventures with Mooch and Earl? Reminders of the sweet parts of life mixed in with good word play. And hooray for comic collections that mean you don’t have to wait another day to see how the comic series goes. Reading Mutts always leaves me in a better mood.
