Summary from Book: Sarah isn’t the nicest kid at school. When Sarah falls into the Snow White fairy tale, she lands in the evil queen’s castle. That seems like the perfect place for a mean girl, doesn’t it? But when Sarah finds out that the evil queen is extra mean (some would even say she’s a bully), she befriends the queen and gets to the bottom of her evil ways.
Note: This review is done from memory. I originally read this a short bit ago.
Page Pig Thoughts: Nothing like seeing someone evil to make you realize that you should be doing better yourself. This one was a fun way to look at the Snow White fairy tale. Sarah wonders why the evil queen is so extreme and Snow White is so oblivious, but finds her way to becoming a better version of herself. I had fun reading this one.
Items of Interest:
- Sarah was being unkind to Tommy, then falls into a fairy tale book.
- Sarah tricks the evil queen into thinking that she is an evil sorceress.
- The evil queen thinks that some of Sarah’s dark magic is trapping people to dance for eternity in a tiny box (yes, Sarah showed the evil queen a phone video).
- Sarah tosses away the poisoned items to save Snow White.
- Snow White says that she is happy being in the middle of nowhere with nothing. She no longer has annoying princes pestering her, and she has friends and nature.
- The evil queen thinks that maybe she doesn’t have to be so evil.
- Sarah goes back to school and apologizes to Tommy for being a jerk.
