Summary from Book: Find out just how odd things get in this hilarious story of time travel and breakfast cereal, expertly told by Newbery Medalist and bestselling author Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Skottie Young.

Page Pig Thoughts: I absolutely loved almost everything about this book. The story was well done, witty and humorous. The illustrations were amazing and well suited to the story. Although the lack of chapters was bothersome because that made it particularly difficult to stop reading the story when I needed to go to sleep. I do wonder how well children understand the space time continuum, but then again, the whole concept seems tricky for most of us to fully understand.

Page Pup did not rate this one as highly as I did, only one Page Pup thumb up. Although I did not find that overly surprising because I wondered if some of the humorous nuances would be lost on a younger reader. But maybe this particular story just wasn’t Page Pup’s thing and that is more than okay.

Use caution with younger or sensitive readers, the black haired people from the jungle and the wumpires did have an interest in eating the father and Professor Steg.
