Summary from Book: Arlo has a big brain and a collection of shiny things.
Pips is his new pal.
Moving to the big city sure can be hectic for a crow. Even one as smart as Arlo! Everywhere you turn-noisy humans, lots of litter, and lots of competition for French fries! Fortunately, Arlo meets Pips-who joins him on his awesome adventures (and reminds him when he’s bragging too much).
Note: This review is done from memory. I originally read this awhile ago.
Page Pig Thoughts: Arlo the crow believes that he is king of the feathered world and goes on to explain to his new friend, Pips, why he is so great. Arlo knows all of his good traits and has good self confidence, maybe he could be considered a little full of himself. But I really enjoyed this story of the confident crow. The fun facts about crows sprinkled throughout the story were a fun way to learn a little bit about a bird that many people find a little dark. We enjoyed his wittiness and ability to outsmart some other birds.
Page Pup gives this one a thumbs up.
