Summary from Book: He’s slight, pink, and very, very clever…Meet Fabio!

Fabio is the world’s greatest Flamingo Detective. He solves crimes with help from his loyal Giraffe associate, Gilbert. Fabio and Gilbert are taking a trip on the famed Ostrich Express-the fastest train in the world! But just after the conductor calls “All aboard!” a priceless ruby necklace disappears without a trace. Fabio can never stay away from a whodunit. Can he and Gilbert use their snoooping skills to catch the thief before the case goes off the rails?

Note: This review is done from memory. I originally read this a short bit ago.

Page Pig Thoughts: This one was alright, I just never really got into it. I appreciated the different animals that were mixed into the story and the mystery was alright.

While the color concept was original, I am just not into super bright colors so the neon pink and orange were not my favorite. Past that, I enjoyed the illustrations and they added to the story.

Page Pup did not seem overly interested in trying this book, but maybe other books were of more interest on this library cycle.
